Allah has destined for man to fall into error to remind him of his weakness and the perfection of his Lord. The preacher of the truth should not flatter the people or seek their pleasure by hiding the truth or by deviating from it. But at the same time he is required to be kind and gentle towards the people while presenting and conveying his message. And he should leave aside any personal interests, so that the people can see that he is not doing this for his own gains but rather for the religion of Allah. بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم In the name of Allah the most Beneficent the most Merciful Translation: What after the world cup? Peace be upon you Guys, you followed the world cup the last days. We're not going to comment on the past, nor on how important or unimportant the world cup is. I'm not going to blame or criticise anyone. Rather, a message for the future. Is it not time for us to change from followers to active, effective doers. As followers no matter what we do we cannot change the course of the tournament. To (become) soldiers of Allah who by putting our trust in him can change the course of history. A player raised the world cup trophy so some of us clapped in joy. Is it not time for us to work so that we can raise our books on the Day of Resurrection with pride and say, {...take! Read my record! Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my account!} Al-Haqqa 69....

"O my dear brother, in this month all faults and mistakes are concealed, all souls and hearts are softened, sins and burdens are forgiven, and Allah `azza wa jall relieves every sad and troubled one. He says to His angels, ‘O My Angels, look at those dry tongues, how they become moist with My remembrance. Look at those hard eyes, how they soften and weep out of fear of Me, and look at those delicate feet planted firmly at the stations of prayer out of desire for Me! O my dear brother, whenever you give food to others in this month for the sake of Allaah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, you shall be raised to high ranks in the lofty grounds of Paradise, and you will be clothed with complete goodness and stripped of all sin…" Ibn al-Jawzee Rahimahullah Bustan al-Wa’idhin wa Riyadh al-Sami’in’ Pp. 185-186.

Yahya bin Muaadh said: The smart individual is not the one whose greatest goal is other than seeking the pardon of Allah. (The smart individual is not the one who) seeks forgiveness with his tongue, while his heart is firmly attached to sin, and he truly intends to return to sin after the completion of Ramadan. This individual’s fast is rejected, and acceptance is closed in his face. Ka’b said: Whoever fasts Ramadan while inwardly saying: Once the month is over, I will disobey Allah; this person’s fasting is rejected. And whoever fasts the month while inwardly saying: Upon completion of the month, I won’t disobey Allah, this person will enter Jannah without questioning or debate.
